Summary:

Would you like to teach applied lessons at HCC? Teach majors and non-majors Teach students from non-credit, Gen Ed pool Prepare majors for two public performances per semester Prepare majors for performance juries Teach functional piano The Music Department is seeking individuals to be included in a pool of adjunct (part-time) faculty for our NASM accredited program. The department chair or area coordinator will review applicants for these positions when a need arises.

Essential Role Responsibilities:

Faculty are expected to prepare lesson materials, maintain an up-to-date Canvas (Learning Management System) site as required for their course(s) following the department's template, provide timely feedback and grading of student work, attend the required Division and Departmental kick-off meetings, and complete mandatory trainings. Most importantly, faculty will deliver high quality demonstrations and instruction, and be actively engaged with students during the creative process.
