Adjunct Faculty in Applied Music College of the Ozarks invites applicants for a part-time, adjunct faculty position in instrumental private lesson instruction. College of the Ozarks is committed to hiring faculty members who embrace the institution's Christian mission, pursue excellence in teaching undergraduate students, and serve as mentors and positive role models. Faculty are expected to be self-motivated and versatile, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff. Primary responsibilities for this position include teaching private lessons in woodwinds, brass, guitar, or percussion, as well as instructing a methods class suited to the instructor's particular area of expertise. Candidates should hold a master's degree in music and/or possess considerable performance experience. Undergraduate teaching experience is a plus. College of the Ozarks is a Christian liberal arts college with a commitment to faith-based education. The campus is in Point Lookout, MO, near Branson.
