Position Summary The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates

for temporary, part-time faculty to teach 1000

and 2000 level Fine Arts courses. This will be

a recruitment for spring 2027 semester. Located about 30

miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a

Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia

Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult

Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

A master's

degree in Fine Arts

One year of fine

arts teaching experience at the post-secondary level

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of fine arts teaching experience at a community college

• understanding of the rich and varied cultures of Mexico and to the success
