An Art Professor teaches foundational art ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the art curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.
Part-time faculty are pooled positions; appointments are made on an as-needed/rolling basis Summary of Position Teach photography courses. Work Schedule:
Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least an earned Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts or a Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Art degree with a minimum of seven years of experience in the field; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience at the University level.
Physical Requirements:
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.
Sedentary:
work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
