Qualified instructor to teach weekly private music (voice) instruction for 8-10 college students for the academic year 2026-2027. Sessions are 30 minutes each and can be scheduled as either in-person or via online methods. In this sequence of courses (Voice 1-8), students move from cultivation of a well-produced vocal tone through employment of technical exercise and study of simple literature. Later studies consider more advanced literature in foreign languages, interpretation, comprehensive musicianship, and public performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following : Directs small ensembles as identified by faculty Creates musical arrangements as directed by faculty Maintains an inventory of music and equipment for the program Works with the Office of Student Success to assist with academic support for undergraduate music majors Assists music faculty and the Office of Admissions in student recruitment activities for the music program Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Interpersonal Skills- Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
