In this role, you will design engaging curricula, manage vibrant classroom environments, and teach a variety of visual and performing arts disciplines. Your enthusiasm for arts education will help cultivate confidence, self-expression, and technical skills in your students. Whether working with children or adults, you will create an inspiring space where learners can explore their artistic potential and develop lifelong skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through arts education. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, covering areas such as visual arts, dance, theater, music, photography, sewing, culinary arts, and more Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior, engagement, and safety for all students Teach various artistic disciplines including choreography, dance instruction, musical instrument performance, theater arts, ballet, sewing, cooking, and early childhood arts programs Incorporate curriculum development strategies that foster creativity while aligning with educational standards and student needs Guide students through skill-building exercises in areas like behavior management, childhood development, special education techniques, and classroom management Facilitate hands-on projects that encourage self-expression and technical mastery in arts such as photography or sewing Support students' emotional and social growth through nurturing mentorship and constructive feedback Qualifications Proven experience working with children or adults in educational or arts settings; youth program teaching experience is highly valued Strong background in teaching visual & performing arts including dance (ballet), theater (acting & choreography), music (instrumental & vocal), photography, sewing, culinary arts or related fields Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs and age groups Ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a creative environment Experience with lesson planning that incorporates creative arts instruction across multiple disciplines Familiarity with childhood development principles and special education strategies when applicable Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with students of varying backgrounds and skill levels Join us to ignite passion for the arts!
