Art Teacher (Part-Time)

07/21/2026 Annunciation Catholic School is hiring a part time Art Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This person will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate art program for assigned grade levels. The candidate should be professional, disciplined and be a team player. The Art Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will be based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
BS / BA Degree in Art or related field. Florida Department of Education teaching certificate is required, temporary or professional. Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Excellent classroom management skills. Minimum of 2 years' experience. Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies and must have the ability to engage and educate students of all grade levels K-8. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Fully committed, supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
