Parker-Anderson Enrichment, Southern California's leading after school enrichment program for over 25 years, is looking for reliable, experienced Instructors who have a passion for kids and love to be a teacher! Parker Anderson's mission is to provide meaningful after school enrichment for all students, regardless of demographics. We teach a variety of classes including STEM, Culinary, Chess, Sports, and Art throughout Los Angeles County, Inland Empire, San Diego and Ventura County. Our ideal candidate is well-organized, punctual, flexible, and excited to be working with children as an after-school Instructor! After School Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Happy to teach at least two of the following subjects in surrounding areas including, but not limited to: Art / Anime Culinary / Cooking Chess Specialty / Fun Communicate professionally with internal team to meet expectations Attend and understand lesson plans/other content in our paid trainings•we provide all curriculum! Check email and class schedule daily to prepare for upcoming classes Drive to school sites with materials and arrive on time•we provide all materials! Teach groups of 20 K-5 or 6th-8th grade students Engage students in hands-on activities with empathy Organize safe dismissal at the end of class Collect materials and leave classroom in a clean manner Have fun! Fulfilling these duties and responsibilities is key for students to learn and have fun with you! After School Teacher Requirements and Qualifications High school degree Driver's license and reliable transportation Professional experience leading groups of kids•teaching preferred Reliable email communication with internal team Availability Needed and Hours Provided At least 3 weekdays of availability from 1-6 PM Work up to 20 hours per week Training and Training Pay rate Online ZOOM training and other TBD Training paid at $18.50/hr. Job Location Surrounding Norwalk area We try to schedule you as close as possible to your address!
Instructor Pay In-person Instructor:
