JOB DESCRIPTION STAR

Education, one of the leading nonprofits in after-school education, is seeking Art teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in elementary-age schools in and around Los Angeles. All candidates must be knowledgeable in Art and have experience teaching/working with children at the elementary level. Applicants must also be energetic, organized, reliable, and want to make a difference in the lives of children.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Will be available for 2.5 hours within the hours of 1:45 to 6:00.- Mon through Fri $35 per hour

Location:

Elementary Schools in and around Los Angeles Will commit to the 2026-2027 School Year Experience teaching K-5th grade students Will have Reliable Transportation Will be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Independently (or with co-teacher) lead groups of up to 20 students from TK-5th grade Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students Creative thinking, with the ability to do so under time constraints Paid training and materials provided.
