Candidates should provide a portfolio link or samples of their artwork demonstrating their artistic abilities and experience with different subjects and mediums. Previous experience teaching art to K-12 students is highly preferred. Candidates with a good understanding of working with children and different age groups will be given preference. Training may be provided to qualified candidates who have strong artistic skills but limited teaching experience. Experience teaching Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Drawing, Painting, or related subjects is a plus. Strong knowledge of various painting techniques, subjects, materials, and mediums . Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when communicating with children and parents. A positive, patient, encouraging, and professional attitude toward students, parents, coworkers, and staff. Ability to assist classes under the direction of a senior teacher while learning and following the school's teaching methods and curriculum. Ability to understand and adapt the established curriculum while finding creative and age-appropriate ways to explain art concepts to students. Prepare art materials and maintain an organized classroom according to students' course levels and lesson plans. Enthusiastic about teaching children and able to quickly understand and implement new art projects, techniques, and lesson ideas. Create an engaging, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment that keeps students interested and motivated. Contribute new project ideas and collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve the school's creative and artistic programs. Maintain appropriate classroom organization, student engagement, and discipline in a positive and respectful manner. Must be reliable, responsible, punctual, and committed to assigned class schedules and teaching responsibilities. Long-term commitment is required. Candidates should be prepared to commit to the position for a minimum of two years following successful completion of the initial probationary period.
