Originally founded as the "Little Artist Lab" in Tustin, our studio quickly earned the trust and admiration of art-loving families in nearby communities. In a few short years, our reputation has grown immensely, attracting over 600 families each week from across Orange County and beyond, both in-person and virtually. This is a Weekend position, with opportunities to work during the week, however, the weekends are the current need.
Responsibilities:
Teach students the fundamentals and advanced techniques of 2D & 3D modeling, sculpting, and illustration . Provide hands-on demonstrations and projects using industry-standard software such as Blender, Nomad Sculpt, Procreate and others. Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to various skill levels. Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new techniques into the curriculum. Offer constructive critiques and guidance to help students improve their artistic and technical skills. Foster a creative and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
Proficiency in 3D modeling, digital sculpting, and illustration . Experience with software like Blender, Nomad Sculpt, Procreate Teaching experience is a plus, but passion for mentoring and strong communication skills are essential . Ability to break down complex concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand lessons . A portfolio showcasing your expertise in 3D art.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design, or a related field . Experience in the gaming, animation, or film industry is a plus. Knowledge of texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
