We are particularly interested in educators who deeply understand the process of building a competitive college admission art portfolio and are committed to serious, structured art training. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational training in fine art mediums such as drawing and painting, along with working knowledge of digital illustration. This role requires leading structured studio classes while actively guiding students in portfolio development and artistic growth. This is a long-term position. We expect a minimum commitment of one academic year . Compensation starts at $20-$30 per hour , based on experience, with opportunities for growth based on performance and longevity. Qualifications Legal authorization to work in the United States Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art or Design (BA/BFA/MFA; MFA preferred) Minimum one year of teaching experience Availability on weekday evenings (3-7 PM) and Saturdays. Strong foundation in drawing, including figure drawing and observational techniques Clear understanding of traditional media and structured skill development Tech-savvy; proficient Adobe software and Procreate Strong writing, research, and organizational skills Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred Application Requirements Please submit your resume along with at least one of the following: Website or online portfolio Work samples demonstrating strong foundational skills in still life, figure drawing, and environment studies
