Job Description
About Us The Marvegos provides an award-winning art program for children, loved by hundreds of Bay Area families. Our teachers receive training and ongoing support, and we value the growth of both our students and our staff. Position We are seeking passionate art teachers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for graduates with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or a degree in art. Digital artists with a degree are also encouraged to apply. What We're Looking For Strong portfolio in traditional media, including drawing and painting Genuine interest in working with children Respectful, patient, and encouraging teaching style Commitment to empowering students and helping them grow creatively Requirements Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (or related art degree) Experience working with children is a plus (art teaching experience not required) Available at least 3 weekdays + Sundays Reliable transportation; preference for candidates able to work at both Los Gatos and San Mateo locations Compensation & Training Pay rate: $27/hour Paid training provided (at a training rate) Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) 401(k) plan Paid time off Equal Opportunity Employer We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
