Do you love art and enjoy inspiring creativity in young minds? We're looking for a fun, upbeat, organized, and dependable person to lead our Arts & Crafts Club at local elementary schools! Our classes run for 1 hour/day immediately after the school day. We are looking for teachers to work at Werner Elementary from 3:45-4:45p on Thursdays. There is potential for this position to expand to more days and schools. As an Art Club Enrichment Teacher, you'll guide students during a one hour class directly after the school day through hands-on art projects using a variety of materials and techniques — from painting and collage to sculpture and mixed media. All training, curriculum, and materials are provided. If you're great with kids and excited to help them explore their artistic side, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging and age-appropriate art activities for a group of elementary-aged students Create a supportive, positive, and inclusive environment that encourages creativity Follow provided lesson plans and manage materials setup/cleanup Maintain student attendance records and basic class documentation Supervise students to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience Communicate positively and professionally with parents, school staff, and team members

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting Enthusiastic and encouraging personality with strong classroom management skills Highly dependable and punctual — reliability is a must! Passion for art, creativity, and working with kids Able to follow structured curriculum while keeping things fun and engaging Must be able to pass a background check Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience in art, education, or youth enrichment programs Familiarity with a variety of art materials and mediums
