Evening Art Clubs:

Two days per week, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Friday Art Lessons:

$30-$35 per hour, depending on experience Position Overview Hall Neighborhood House is looking for a creative, energetic, and inspiring Art Teacher to lead our youth art programming. We are looking for someone with fun ideas who can create an environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, creating, and discovering new ways to express themselves through art. The Art Teacher will be responsible for creating and modeling an exciting, hands-on art curriculum that introduces students to different art forms, techniques, materials, and creative processes. We want our students to have opportunities to explore beyond traditional drawing and painting and discover new ways to create and express themselves. Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an engaging, age-appropriate art curriculum.
• Create fun, hands-on projects that encourage creativity and imagination.
• Introduce students to different art forms, techniques, and mediums.
• Model artistic techniques and guide students through the creative process.
• Lead our evening art clubs twice a week from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• Teach Friday art lessons from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
• Encourage students to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their own artistic style.
• Prepare art materials and organize supplies for activities.
• Create opportunities for students to showcase and celebrate their artwork.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Work with youth of different ages and skill levels. Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in art, teaching, youth programming, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Art Education, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates who are currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Art Education, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of different art techniques, mediums, and creative processes.
• Experience developing and leading creative, hands-on activities for children or youth.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Creative, energetic, and passionate about helping young people explore and develop their artistic abilities.
