7th-12th Grade Art Instructor Kaleo Homeschool | Palm Beach County, FL Kaleo Homeschool is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Art Instructor to teach a 15-week high school-level art course for students in grades 7-12 . This is not an introductory arts-and-crafts position. We are looking for an educator with a strong background in art education who is passionate about developing students' artistic abilities through intentional instruction, constructive critique, and meaningful portfolio-quality work. The ideal candidate is someone who can inspire young artists while teaching technical skills, artistic principles, and creative problem-solving in a Christ-centered learning environment.

Compensation:

$30-$50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Desired Qualifications Strong background in illustration, painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic design, or a related artistic field. Experience teaching middle school and/or high school students. Ability to teach foundational and advanced artistic techniques. Knowledge of the Elements and Principles of Design. Ability to provide thoughtful critique while encouraging artistic growth. Experience planning projects that challenge students creatively and technically. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for mentoring young artists in a Christ-centered environment. Preferred Skills Instruction may include topics such as: Observational Drawing Perspective Composition Color Theory Painting Techniques Mixed Media Sculpture Printmaking Digital Art (optional) Portfolio Development Art History Integration Creative Process & Critique Requirements Ability to create a semester syllabus and lesson plans.
