Organization Details Organization Information The Owen County School District consists of four schools located on one campus. Owen County Lower Elementary houses pre-school and grades K through 2, Owen County Upper Elementary served grades 3 - 5 last year, but will serve only grades 3 & 4 in the 11/12 school year. Maurice Bowling Middle School served grades 6-8 in 10/11, with 5th graders joining the middle school in the fall of 2011, and Owen County High School serves grades 9 -12. Owen County High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Owen County Board of Education is committed to meeting the needs of all students and improving district facilities in order to maximize the opportunities for student learning.
