QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must maintain good attendance at school 2. Student Worker must maintain a passing level in all classes 3. Shall be friendly and courteous at all times 4. Must be attentive, supportive, kind and positive with the children at all times
REPORTS TO
Immediate Supervisor
JOB GOAL
To gain valuable work experience, develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management, and contribute positively to the success of Owen County schools while balancing academic commitments.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Being detail-oriented and completing tasks promptly Being comfortable in unfamiliar situations and taking on challenging assignments Having good communication skills, both oral and written Being able to carry out instructions Being able to perform essential functions safely and following safety regulations Being self-motivated and finding motivation during stressful times Being supportive of student success, respecting FERPA, and maintaining files Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Hourly rate set annually by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
