Job Description

St. Anthony School is seeking a part

  • time dedicated Art Teacher for grades PreK
  • 8 . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts, a commitment to fostering creativity, and the ability to inspire students of all ages.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and promote creativity.
  • Teach a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, and digital media.
  • Encourage and support students in expressing their creativity and developing their artistic skills.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and display student artwork within the school and at community events.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into other areas of the curriculum.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and developments in art education.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Experience as an art teacher or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
