Job Description

Webster Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Art Teacher at Bartlett High School. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License. Instruct Grades 9 -12 students in a group settings to plan, develop, and deliver engaging art instructionConference regularly with classroom teachers, principals, and administrators regarding effective instruction and policy•Develop students creativity, artistic skills, critical thinking, and ability to communicate ideas through visual artAdminister and coordinate state mandated testing •Maintain an organized, safe, and well-equipped art studio/classroom, including proper use and storage of art materials and equipment.

Analyze and utilize relevant data to drive decisionsConduct and/or coordinate professional development for districtMaintain student files with appropriate documentsCollaborate regularly with general education teachersAttend professional development Perform other duties as directed by the Superintendent
