Elementary Art Teacher

WHAT WE NEED

1. Valid State Teacher Certification Granted by the Professional Teaching Standards Board. 2.

Appropriate certification:

LX, LQ, or LZ 3. Evidence of ability to establish working relationships that result in mutual respect. 4. Ability to speak clearly and concisely, both in oral and written communication. 5. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. 6. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance at the job is an essential function

WHAT YOU NEED

? 1. Works cooperatively with administrators, student services personnel, and teachers to ensure the delivery of the curriculum. 2. Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences. 3. Creates an environment for learning through functional and attractive displays and exhibits of students' work. 4. Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil, to the extent feasible. 5. Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property. 6. Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the district, and/or in self-selected professional growth activities. 7. Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress. 8. Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs. 9. Other duties as assigned by the principal.
