Teacher, full time Position Details Kearsley Community Schools is seeking a highly qualified and creative Art Educator to join our dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging, innovative, and technology-integrated art instruction. This position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, with an anticipated start date the week of August 10. The Kearsley Board of Education will offer the successful candidate an annual salary in accordance with the KEA Master Agreement, commensurate with skills and experience. A comprehensive and competitive MESSA fringe benefit package is also included. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Michigan Teaching Certificate with one of the following endorsements: Art Education (LX) Visual Arts Education (LQ) Visual Arts Specialist (LZ) Fine Arts (OX) - will also be considered Candidates with additional endorsements are preferredSkills & Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will: Use creative instructional strategies and best practices to foster student engagement Integrate technology, literature, and writing into art instruction Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Develop classroom-based interventions and monitor student progress Evaluate student growth using a variety of assessments Maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively with colleagues This position reports to the Building Principal .
