Part-Time, Temporary About Us All Children's Art Center of NJ (ACACNJ) is a nonprofit arts organization providing affordable and accessible arts education to children throughout New Jersey. We partner with schools and communities to offer engaging programs in visual arts, theater, music, STEAM, and creative learning. We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to lead an after-school art enrichment program at a partner school in Basking Ridge, NJ . This is an excellent opportunity for an artist, art teacher, art education student, education major, teaching artist, or creative professional who enjoys working with children.

Schedule One day per week:

Wednesday OR Thursday 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM 8-week program session Opportunity for additional sessions throughout the school year Consistent weekly schedule Responsibilities Teach fun and age-appropriate art classes for children. Lead hands-on projects using a variety of art materials and techniques. Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Manage a small group of students and maintain classroom safety. Prepare, organize, set up, and clean up art materials. Communicate professionally with ACACNJ and school staff. Arrive on time and maintain a reliable weekly schedule. Qualifications Experience working with children preferred. Background in art, art education, education, studio art, or a related field preferred. Comfortable leading a group of children. Creative, energetic, patient, dependable, and organized. Reliable transportation to Basking Ridge. Ability to successfully complete a background check. Teaching certification is a plus but NOT required.
