Please submit an online application Summary The Department of Art at LIU Post is seeking a Adjunct Instructor - Ceramics. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree and professional experience in the field of contemporary pottery and ceramic sculpture. Active academic professional experience is required. They will have experience in ceramic art, pottery and ceramic sculpture as well as experience appropriate for teaching undergraduate-level art courses. Minimum Requirements Experience in ceramic art and/or sculpture, including relevant studio techniques and processes. Knowledge of ceramic materials, glazing, firing, and studio practices. Professional artistic experience demonstrated through exhibitions, publications, conference presentations, commissions, or other recognized professional activities. Experience teaching art at the college level or providing instruction through workshops, demonstrations, or other educational settings is preferred. Preferred candidates will have additional professional experience through exhibitions, residencies, publications, or conference presentations.
