Fine Art Miracles Inc (FAM), is a well established 501(c)3 nonprofit, with a mission to improve the lives of people of all ages with various challenges. We offer the benefits of Fine Art Lessons to older adults•some of our communities' most vulnerable members.

About Fine Art Lessons:

In Rochester, FAM provides Fine Art Lessons primarily for the elderly in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We are looking for someone who can serve our clients in Rochester, Geneva and Canandaigua•so eventually, a Road Warrior Attitude is necessary. FAM art classes have an educational component, which means you will share examples of artwork and talk about the artist for a minute or two and then facilitate a hands-on art project that is in some way related to the work of that artist. Sessions serve up to 15 participants and they last about an hour. FAM provides a supply stipend twice a year to help defray the cost of consumable art supplies. As a FAM Art Teacher you will work with our clients at their facilities, do a little online documentation (a short google form), and receive payment (direct deposit) at the end of the month for all of the sessions you've implemented. Sessions are mostly scheduled weekday working hours and occasionally, can be evenings. FAM staff are responsible for planning and providing engaging sessions for all FAM clientele. Job Duties and Expectations:

Facilitate the delivery of Fine Art Lessons Attend and participate in WNY Teacher meetings (once or twice a year) clearly communicating any needs/issues with the CEO Design Art sessions for various capabilities Ensure that all Google Doc forms are completed within 24 hours of a class's completion Remain aware of and adhere to the established program timeline Maintain professional interaction with co-workers, on-site professional contacts, relatives, and other points of contact necessary to conduct programs

Reporting Structure:

Art Teacher will report to the CEO.

Job Qualifications:

Strong desire to learn and share knowledge is required Must have a car and be willing to travel to client locations, including Geneva and Canadaigua Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree a plus) Competent with Email, Google Drive, and Google Documents Excellent and effective written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills Lesson plan and curriculum writing experience preferred Attentive to detail as to uphold the quality and goals set by FAM Must have a gmail address and laptop (Mac preferred) Must be able to adapt to flexible work hours and environment with evolving program priorities
