Additional teaching opportunities may be available during summer programs and throughout the 2026/2027 school year. The Opportunity As an Art Educator, you will: Inspire children's creativity, imagination, and confidence through engaging art lessons Teach students in grades K-8 using a proven curriculum designed by a team of experienced educators Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment Apply your leadership, communication, and classroom management skills Provide clear instructions and guide students through creative art activities Encourage students to explore their own artistic ideas while building new skills Maintain a clean, organized, and safe art environment Work independently while also collaborating with a supportive team Position Details Part-time teaching schedule: approximately 8-24 hours per week Locations throughout Montgomery County and surrounding areas Curriculum and lesson plans provided Paid training provided Competitive pay Opportunities for additional teaching assignments during summer programs and the 2026/2027 school year Qualifications & Requirements Successful candidates will have: A genuine love for children and a desire to make a positive impact Previous classroom management experience The ability to confidently lead and engage a classroom of students Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned school locations The ability to pass required background checks The ability to follow a structured curriculum and established teaching system Three verifiable professional references The ability to follow basic art instructions and demonstrate activities clearly Strong communication skills and the ability to provide age-appropriate instruction A positive attitude and a willingness to learn The ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when needed A self-starter mindset with excellent organization and dependability Why Join Our Team?
