Art Teacher Tilghman's Academy of Music Harrisburg, SD Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Student supervision Engaging lesson design (student motivation techniques) Experience working with children Working with students Visual arts painting Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Art Instructor — Part-Time Tilghman's Academy of Music is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Instructor to lead a few children's art classes on Fridays. This is a great opportunity for an art teacher, working artist, college art student, homeschool teacher, or anyone with a strong background in art who enjoys working with children.
What makes this position easy:
We provide the students, classroom space, and all art supplies . You bring your creativity and teaching experience! Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate art classes Create a fun, encouraging environment for students Provide instruction in drawing, painting, crafts, or other appropriate art techniques Manage a small group of students during class Communicate professionally with students and staff Position Details Fridays Part-time; a few classes each Friday $20-$25/hour , depending on experience Classroom, students, and supplies provided Opportunity to add additional classes as the program grows Qualifications Art teaching experience preferred Strong background or education in visual arts Enjoys working with children Reliable, creative, patient, and enthusiastic Ability to independently lead a class and keep students engaged If you love art and enjoy sharing your creativity with kids, we'd love to hear from you!
