Job Summary At RB's Sound House & Art Collective we are starting after school art classes Monday-Thursday from 5pm-630pm We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Art Teachers to lead after school art classes, inspiring creativity and fostering artistic growth among students of various ages. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop engaging curricula, manage vibrant classroom environments, and nurture students' artistic talents through diverse mediums such as painting, drawing, visual arts, performing arts, dance, music, theater, photography, sewing, and culinary arts. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for arts education, experience working with children and youth programs, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning atmosphere. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to make a positive impact on young learners' creative journeys while showcasing their expertise in multiple artistic disciplines. Responsibilities Prepare 1.5 hour art class for kids of all ages. The age range depends on teacher preferences and art type Qualifications Proven experience teaching visual arts, performing arts (dance/theater), music instruction (including instrumental performance), or related creative disciplines. Strong background in curriculum development tailored to diverse age groups including early childhood education or preschool settings. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Experience working with children or youth programs with an understanding of childhood development principles. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate creativity while meeting educational objectives. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities—including those requiring special education accommodations or behavior management strategies.
