The ideal candidates will have a strong background in yoga, hot yoga, or pilates, and a desire to inspire and motivate others on their wellness journey. This role involves leading group classes, with proper instruction of form, and passionate about creating a welcoming environment for all participants. A background in HIIT or personal training is a plus. Responsibilities Previous experience teaching yoga Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for various skill levels, ensuring proper alignment and technique. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participants to explore their physical limits. Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual abilities and enhance the experience for all students. Promote overall wellness by integrating principles of body mechanics and mindfulness into classes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio space before and after classes. Collaborate with other fitness instructors to create a well-rounded fitness program that may include group fitness, cycle classes, or sports coaching. Engage in fitness sales by promoting upcoming workshops, events, or special classes to increase participation. Ability to develop class plans that incorporate different styles of yoga and adapt sessions based on participant needs. Requirements Certification as a Yoga or Group Fitness Instructor from an accredited program is required. Experience in teaching yoga classes with a strong understanding of various yoga styles. Knowledge of body mechanics and the ability to provide safe modifications for students. Familiarity with additional fitness disciplines such as Pilates, CrossFit, kickboxing, or cycle is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants. A commitment to personal wellness and continuous professional development in the fitness industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
