Woodbridge, Virginia (Prince William County) BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable After-School Art Instructor to lead engaging art enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Woodbridge, VA . This is a great opportunity for an artist, art instructor, teacher, creative professional, college student, or anyone passionate about helping children explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Position Details Part-time, after-school position Monday through Friday Afternoon after-school hours 1.5-hour sessions $45 per session ($30 per hour) No weekends No lesson planning required Curriculum and art materials provided In-person position in Woodbridge Program Focus Students will explore age-appropriate art activities designed to encourage: Creativity and self-expression Drawing and illustration Painting and color Craft projects Hands-on art activities Basic art techniques Confidence and creative thinking Responsibilities Lead engaging and age-appropriate art activities Demonstrate basic art techniques and creative projects Encourage students to express themselves through art Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities Supervise and engage students throughout each session Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership Ideal Candidates This position is a great fit for: Art instructors Professional or practicing artists Art teachers Illustrators and designers Creative professionals Teachers and substitute teachers Camp counselors Youth instructors College students and recent graduates Anyone passionate about art and working with children Qualifications Art, teaching, or creative experience preferred but not required Experience working with children is a plus Comfortable working with elementary-aged students Creative, patient, and energetic Reliable transportation to schools in Woodbridge Dependable and punctual Must successfully complete the required Prince William County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process Job Type Part-time Contract Seasonal In-person Join BBA Afterschool and help children discover their creativity, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for art.
