ESL Teacher

Part-Time Adult ESL Teacher American English Language School is seeking passionate, dedicate part-time language teachers to teach English to adults. The opportunity to teach in future quarters is dependent upon your performance. Following a successful interview, an appointment will be made for training to take place. In addition to teaching 7-8 adult students, other duties include grading and occasionally meeting with the Assistant Director to discuss student performance.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 8am-1pm

Requirements:

1. Native or native-like speaker of English 2. Bachelor's Degree or higher (preferably in ESL, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or English) 3. TESOL certification if the degree is not in ESL or TESOL (this step can be done online after the interview but must be completed before training starts) 4. In the case of a candidate whose education background is not in TESOL or a related field, previous teaching experience in language teaching is preferred.
