SEEKING PASSIONATE & ENTHUSIASTIC INSTRUCTOR & INSTRUCTOR ASSISTANT TO TEACH IN OUR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
iBest Learning Center is an after-school program located in Danville that provides high-quality enrichment programs and summer school for children and their families. We emphasize a fun learning environment for children. We pursue individual excellence in creativity and strategy, and we encourage collaboration among children, and between children and their parents.
General Responsibilities:
Prepare lesson plans, tests, and student's materials; Provide appropriate academic teaching to students according to the Center policy Provide Assessment progress reports to Parents Organize, lead and implement a variety of recreational and educational activities which encourages student's learning Manage a group of students applying appropriate guidelines to ensure a healthy physical, social and emotional environment Communicate closely with parents regarding student's progress Encourage student's positive self-image and supports individuality and independence
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and written skills; Outstanding knowledge in Math and Chinese. Knowledge in teaching Reading/Writing in or Math Self-motivated, responsible, driven, and works well with minimal supervision Organized and great time management skills Prior experience working with children preferred 10- 25 hours per week depending on the position.
