POLY Languages Institute:
Now Hiring a Substitute ESL Teacher At POLY Languages Institute, we're committed to providing high-quality English language education to international and domestic students, equipping them with the skills needed for success in a global environment. We are seeking a dedicated Substitute ESL Teacher who is passionate about delivering exceptional instruction and supporting a diverse student body as needed.
Position Overview:
In this substitute teaching role, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate effective English language learning while maintaining a supportive and engaging classroom environment in the absence of regular instructors. Build strong rapport with students and collaborate effectively with peers to support a cohesive learning environment Demonstrate enthusiasm for English teaching and openness to instructional methods and program improvements Apply cultural sensitivity to ensure an inclusive classroom that respects diverse backgrounds Additional responsibilities may include lesson delivery, administering assessments, and providing timely student feedback
Qualifications:
Native-like fluency in American English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in TESOL or related field, or a bachelor's degree with a
TESOL/CELTA
certificate and at least one year of ESL teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic familiarity with Zoom Experience teaching adults and managing group classes Ability to teach across proficiency levels (beginner to advanced) We offer competitive compensation and a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
