Who You Are If you're someone who: Is compassionate and dedicated to making a meaningful difference in students' lives through high-quality English instruction Enjoys working in a forward-thinking school that values creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement Is an engaging communicator who connects naturally with adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and strong teamwork, with a mindset that supports both students and colleagues Is committed to continuous learning and professional growth Is available Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, plus 1 Thursdays afternoon per month for faculty meetings And is available Mondays and Tuesdays for the Afternoon Shift (1:30 PM to 6:00 PM) or the Evening Shift (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM) Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (BA or BS) Minimum 2 years of recent experience teaching English to adult learners Experience working in multicultural learning environments preferred Comfort using learning management systems (LMS) and classroom technology Key Responsibilities As an ESL Instructor, you will: Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered lesson plans designed for adult learners Facilitate interactive classroom activities that promote real-world communication skills Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to support improvement Use educational technology and LMS tools to enhance learning and organization Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and strengthen curriculum delivery Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that supports student success
