In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during after-school hours, fostering their academic growth and personal development. Your passion for working with children and expertise in Chinese language instruction will inspire young learners to explore new skills and build confidence. Duties Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, organized, and positive learning environment for children of various ages. Deliver engaging Chinese language lessons tailored to different skill levels, incorporating cultural elements and interactive methods. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and behavior management. Implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote childhood development, literacy, and social skills. Assist with homework help, tutoring, and reinforcement of classroom learning objectives. Follow first aid protocols and be prepared to administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary to ensure child safety. Facilitate youth group activities, camp experiences, or extracurricular programs that foster teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively. Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education strategies is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid (including AED operation) is required; ongoing training is supported. Experience facilitating youth programs or outdoor activities enhances your ability to engage students actively. Strong team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
