Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Mandarin-English Bilingual Montessori Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive Montessori curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young children, integrating language immersion in Mandarin and English. Create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Manage classroom behavior and foster positive behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment. Conduct classroom management duties including organizing activities, supervising children during lessons and free play, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and updates. Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental delays or special needs and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and classroom activities in compliance with educational standards and mandated reporting laws. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as preschools or daycare centers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential for effective bilingual instruction and communication. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Certified in first aid and CPR; additional certifications related to childhood welfare or special education are preferred. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Experience with preschool teaching, or private school environments is highly desirable. Ability to adapt lesson plans for diverse learners including those requiring individualized support or tutoring. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is required to ensure compliance with legal responsibilities.
