The TK-8 Spanish Teacher provides high-quality language instruction that supports students in developing proficiency in Spanish. The teacher fosters a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where students build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. The Spanish teacher integrates culturally responsive practices and supports students' academic and social-emotional growth. This role requires collaboration with site staff to align instruction with district priorities and to support student achievement across grade levels. Qualifications Valid California Single Subject World Language:
Spanish Credential, Single Subject Credential with appropriate authorization, or ability to obtain through an intern, PIP, or STIP pathway. Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish at the elementary and/or middle school level. Bilingual and biliterate proficiency in Spanish and English required. Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and collaborate with colleagues. Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an engaging learning environment. Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written. Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices. Requirements /
