Until filled Greenwich Public Schools seeks a 0.8 FTE American Sign Language (ASL) teacher. Responsibilities Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students Modify where appropriate instructional methods and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Learn and use technology to enhance teaching where appropriate Evaluate student performance consistently Maintain accurate records of student progress Qualifications Profile CT State Certification, or certifiability, in Hearing Impaired, Grades PreK-12 (#057), and/or Other World Language, Grades 7-12 (#024), required Ability to personalize learning in a blended learning environment required Fluency in English and American Sign Language required Professional experience in ASL and/or working with the hearing-impaired preferred
