The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. This role involves teaching English language skills to non-native speakers, focusing on enhancing their communication abilities in both academic and everyday contexts, and facilitating a dynamic environment where fun is central. This is not a role for lecturers. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the varying levels of English proficiency among students. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence in language use. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Engage with adult learners, tailoring lessons to meet their specific language acquisition goals. Become a coach and facilitator as much as a teacher in the classroom. Experience Proven experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly in ESL or adult language education settings. Experience in classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere. Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable, facilitating better communication with students who may not be fluent in English.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field of English, TESOL, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Education, etc., or Bachelor's in unrelated field with TEFL or CELTA certification, at least one year of experience teaching adult ESL.
