As a Bilingual CNA/HHA Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs that prepare students for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) certifications, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards and are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in patient care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the next generation of healthcare providers while maintaining high standards of education and compliance. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, bilingual instruction for CNA and HHA training programs in both English and Spanish, ensuring clarity and accessibility for diverse learners. Assess student performance through practical demonstrations, written exams, and clinical evaluations to ensure competency in patient care, and medical terminology. Supervise clinical practice sessions in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, ICU units, pediatric wards, and home care environments to provide real-world experience. Provide mentorship and guidance to students on professional development, emphasizing nursing leadership skills and clinical instruction techniques. Ensure the training environment adheres to safety protocols, infection control standards, and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare facilities to facilitate clinical placements that enhance practical learning experiences for students. Skills Proven background working within nursing homes or home care environments with a strong understanding of patient needs across diverse populations. Strong expertise in medical documentation practices and medical records management. Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively through clinical instruction and training & development strategies. Leadership experience in nursing or healthcare education roles with a focus on clinical supervision and program development. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate inclusive learning experiences for diverse student populations.
