Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress effectively. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects and celebrates cultural diversity, adapting teaching methods for students from various backgrounds. Incorporate literacy education, math integration, music, and other interdisciplinary approaches to enrich language learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance data, progress, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional modifications, and standardized testing preparations to meet educational compliance standards. Requirements Proven experience in classroom teaching of elementary or middle school students, preferably with elementary school teaching experience. Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction, including curriculum implementation and lesson planning. Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and instructional modifications for students with disabilities or special education needs. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or special needs. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teacher collaboration. Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to inform instruction and improve outcomes. Understanding of educational regulations, compliance requirements, and literacy education best practices. Background in working with students on standardized testing preparation or tutoring is advantageous. Passion for teaching music or integrating arts into language instruction is a plus.
