Job Description

Language and Cultural Role Players OTA is hiring Language and Cultural Role Players to bring greater authenticity to immersive training exercises. Candidates will portray fictional individuals whose language, communication style, background, and behavior contribute to realistic student interactions. This position is well suited for bilingual and multilingual individuals who enjoy using their communication skills creatively and can confidently adapt to evolving scenarios. Key Responsibilities Portray assigned fictional identities consistently and convincingly. Use foreign language skills during conversations and interactions when directed. Incorporate assigned cultural, biographical, and behavioral details into each portrayal. Memorize essential information and provide consistent responses throughout the exercise. Improvise appropriately when scenarios develop beyond predetermined dialogue. Follow instructor cues and make real-time performance adjustments. Participate in physical activities associated with training exercises. Participate in controlled search simulations conducted by students of any gender. Adhere to all safety, security, confidentiality, and conduct standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. U.S.
Citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident living in the U.S. for more than 3 years. Valid
U.S. REAL ID
driver's license. English proficiency and proficiency in at least one additional language. Ability to perform physical activities including running, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, bending, and lying on the ground. Ability to pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Successful candidates are adaptable, observant, culturally aware, dependable, comfortable improvising, and able to communicate naturally while remaining within an assigned character.
