Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Mandarin Chinese Tutor for two children. 5th and 7th grade. Their first language is English. We prefer in-person but will do virtual if necessary. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to educational excellence, creating a positive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Deliver interactive lessons that incorporate modern learning technology and cater to various learning styles. Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instruction. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement, ensuring transparency and engagement. Requirements Proven experience in teaching of Mandarin Chinese at elementary or middle school levels. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, and instructional modifications for diverse learners. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to enhance instruction. Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special education needs, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to engage students effectively. Ability to analyze student performance data to tailor instruction and support student success. Prior experience in private or elementary school settings is preferred; certification in teaching Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.

Pay:

$27.04 - $32.56 per hour
