Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qur'an/Arabic Teacher to inspire students in their spiritual and linguistic development. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons in Qur'an recitation, memorization, and Arabic language skills, fostering a supportive environment that encourages cultural understanding and personal growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Islamic studies, language instruction, and classroom management, with a commitment to nurturing diverse learners. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for Qur'an and Arabic language instruction Teach students various aspects of Qur'an recitation, memorization, Tajweed (pronunciation rules), and interpretation Incorporate modern learning technology and LMS (Learning Management System) tools to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and address individual student needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes active student engagement Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and behavioral observations Collaborate with fellow educators to develop curriculum materials, assess student data, and refine instructional strategies for optimal learning outcomes Requirements Proven experience teaching Qur'an, Arabic language, or Islamic studies in classroom settings; elementary school teaching experience is highly valued Strong knowledge of Qur'an memorization techniques, Tajweed rules, and Arabic grammar Familiarity with LMS platforms, learning technology tools, and curriculum development processes Experience working with children of diverse cultural backgrounds and students with disabilities or special education needs Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to motivate and inspire learners Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data to inform instruction and implement instructional modifications as needed Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Background in literacy education, math integration (if applicable), behavior management strategies, and standardized testing preparation are advantageous Commitment to educational compliance standards and ongoing professional development in Islamic education practices Join us in shaping the future by imparting valuable knowledge rooted in faith while fostering a nurturing environment that celebrates diversity.
