Job Description

The Spanish teacher will develop, create, and select appropriate instructional activities that are aligned to district curriculum maps for middle school level introduction to Spanish classes and Spanish I classes for high school credit in order to meet the needs of all learners. The teacher will also supervise students in a variety of school settings and communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and other school staff.
Requirements:
Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum maps for Spanish content area in middle school setting Collaborate with respective teams in a way that promotes the vision and mission of Crawfordsville Middle School, as well as promotes a positive school culture Maintain and record appropriate student records when necessary Collaborate with students, staff, and parents for the betterment of all students Develop learning goals for students and maintain high expectations of student achievement Maintains professional qualities expected of an educator and maintains a continuous learning attitude towards the profession Supervise students in a variety of settings Perform other duties as assigned
Certification Requirements:
Valid Indiana Foreign Language Teaching License or Ability to Obtain License
