  • Plan, teach, and assess students in all key academic areas (literacy, math, science, social studies, social/emotional learning, religion)
  • Use the RenWeb online database for attendance, grading, and communication
  • Create a safe and joyful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively and often with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Interact and communicate with children in a calm, kind, and nurturing manner
  • Understand and support the unique strengths of each child
  • Support the faith formation of students and participate/accompany them in faith formation experiences (Mass, etc.)
  • Collaborate with colleagues, guidance counselor, special education teacher, and specialists for planning and to support students
  • Teach Spanish language and culture classes, developing 4 key proficiencies: reading, writing, listening, and speaking
  • Design engaging, standards-aligned lessons that support diverse learners and implement accommodations
  • Utilize a variety of formative and summative assessments to measure proficiency and drive instructional adjustments
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural awareness, global citizenship, and active conversational practice
  • Participate actively in department meetings, faculty professional development, and professional learning
