Maimonides School, a K-12 Modern Orthodox Jewish day school in Brookline, MA, is seeking experienced candidates for full-time and part-time teaching positions for Hebrew language for the 2026-27 school year. Flexible schedules and teaching opportunities are available.
Responsibilities:
Teach a combination of classes in Middle and Upper School grades. Classes will focus on critical skills related to the four strands of language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Provide an environment that encourages participation and recognizes the needs of individual students and the entire group and offer support and flexibility as needed Integrate Hebrew and Israel into other areas of the School through interdepartmental collaboration. Works as part of a cooperative and diverse team of educators and administrators to carry out the mission of Maimonides Cultivate positive relationships with current and prospective students and parents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 2-4 years experience teaching, preferably in the Middle or Upper School Experience teaching Hebrew as a second language Native Hebrew speaker a plus Interest in professional growth and commitment to continuous learning Join our family of outstanding educators and administrators who recognize each new day as an opportunity for creative ideas, collaboration, and connection.
