Aug 18, 2026 Job Description Qur'an Arabic Teacher (Middle & High School) Al-Noor Academy- Mansfield, Massachusetts Academic Year 2026-2027 Al-Noor Academy, a private Islamic middle and high school located in Mansfield, Massachusetts, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Middle and High School Qur'an/Arabic Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Teach Qur'an/Arabic language courses to middle and high school students (Grades 6-12).
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Foster students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Arabic.
- Create a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and Islamic character.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying language abilities and learning styles.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, projects, examinations, and classroom participation, and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate regularly with parents and school administration regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
- Uphold and model the Islamic values and professional standards of Al-Noor Academy. Qualifications Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Islamic Sciences, Arabic Language, Arabic Studies, Education, or a closely related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the middle or high school level.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems is preferred.
- A solid understanding of Islamic culture, values, and etiquette, with the ability to integrate them appropriately within the educational setting.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
