Role Overview Identity, a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to serving Latino youth and families, is seeking a dynamic and culturally responsive part-time ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Instructor to work with Spanish-speaking young adults (ages 18-25). We are hiring instructors for each of our two YOC locations (Takoma Park and Gaithersburg). The ESOL Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, trauma-informed English language instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of immigrant and first-generation youth. Instruction will focus on practical English skills for everyday living, education, and workforce readiness, while building confidence and promoting community integration. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), have experience working with vulnerable youth populations, and be passionate about supporting English language learners in their personal, academic, and professional growth.
