Qualifications MN Teaching License or eligible to apply for Tier 1 or Tier 2 License. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive ESL curriculum tailored to students' proficiency levels, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds. Deliver engaging classroom instruction that incorporates modern learning technology and multimedia resources to enhance language acquisition. Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative evaluations, analyzing data to inform instructional modifications. Manage classroom behavior proactively, creating a positive environment conducive to learning and respectful communication. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and sharing best practices for effective teaching strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements to foster strong home-school connections. Adapt instructional methods for students with special education needs or disabilities, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities.

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably with elementary or primary school students in diverse settings. Strong knowledge of ESL methodologies, learning technology tools such as LMS (Learning Management Systems), and curriculum implementation techniques. Familiarity with special education principles, behavior management strategies, and instructional modifications for varied learning styles. Experience working with children from different cultural backgrounds and understanding of childhood development stages. Excellent communication skills for effective student engagement, parent interaction, and teacher collaboration.
